Before you start trading Macquarie Warrants, it’s important that you have read and understood the terms set out in the relevant PDS (available on the ASX website). You must also have read and understood the ASX booklet 'Understanding Trading and Investment Warrants'.
Once you have read and understood these terms, there are two ways to buy and sell warrants:
- through a Macquarie or other ASX Derivatives Accredited Adviser or broker
- online using Macquarie DirecTrade or another online broker.
To open a warrants trading account with Macquarie:

What happens when your Macquarie DirecTrade application is processed?
You will receive by mail:
- your account details
- your Macquarie Access Code and password (unless you already have them) to access your research and accounts online
